- To attend ILSC you must be 16 years or age or older.
- You should complete your registration one month before your first day of classes.
- You should complete the homestay application (if applicable.)
- If you are registering for the Cooperative Education Program, you must complete a separate Cooperative Education Application.
- If you would like to study both French and English at the same time, you must have a language level of Intermediate One or higher in both languages.

Depending on which passport you hold, you may need a Visitor's Visa to study in Canada. Here is an up to date list of the countries whose citizens need a Visa to visit Canada.
If you plan to study in Canada for six months or longer, you must obtain a Student Permit and a Certificate of Acceptance for Quebec (CAQ.) These are available through your local Canadian Embassy. Citizenship and Immigration Canada has a web page with additional information about studying in Canada.
Please obtain private medical insurance before your arrival. Provincial medical plans do not cover international students.
