Youth Program (Summer or Winter)

ILSC offers a Youth (13 - 17 years old) Program in Montréal, Quebec.

The program is offered in January and July/August. It is from 1 to 7 weeks in length in the summer and 1 to 4 weeks in the winter.
Language Levels: open to all levels

Does your teen love adventures and culture?
Do you have plans for him/her next SUMMER or WINTER? Montréal is an amazing city with European architecture, art, fabulous food and people from all around the world. Your teen will learn English or French while participating in enjoyable activities. This unique program combines language classes and activities with lifelong friendships and fun!

Note: this program is offered for either French or English study.

Mornings: English or French Classes (9am to 12pm)
Your teen will make his/her way from homestay to school by Montréal public transportation.

Your teen will choose from one to seven weeks of morning communication classes, learning and practicing vocabulary, idioms, phrases and dialogues within a customized course to meet his/her age group's specific needs. Based on your teen’s language level assessment, he/she will be placed in one of four different language level classes.

Afternoons: Fun Activities (1pm to 4:30pm )
Your teen will join extracurricular activities such as movies, street festivals, amusement parks, museums and soccer matches with the ILSC team. Each afternoon will be a new adventure! Your teen will have a lot of fun practicing sports, hiking in amazing locations and much more.

Evenings: Live Like a Local
Your teen will be surprised at how quickly his/her speaking will improve when immersed in English or French from breakfast until bedtime in a homestay. Each home is monitored by ILSC’s staff to make sure it is appropriate to accommodate your teen. In an ILSC Homestay, he or she will have a real Canadian experience!
